SUMMARY OF 2008 CHALLENGES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

NEW BOARD AND ON WE GO....

Hello and snowy greetings. the meeting was held on Saturday December 13th and the incumbents were reelected, with the new member being Gene Marcum, our resident metalworks specialist and general all around good guy.

If anyone wants to see the financials they can contact Amy the treasurer and she will be happy to set an appointment with you. At the end of this is the summary of the years accomplishments and work.

Now that the snow is here the big expenses have arrived. SO...

We have to crack down on arrears, so those who are late on the dues will have no snow removal and lose their trash service also. They will get a lien and a lawsuit to boot so please try to stay current or contact Amy to make payment arrangements.

Well, we are happy to serve you residents, just let us know how we can help. We are doing all we can to make our community better.

GRATITUDE TO DARREN AND HIS SNOW GUYS!

Dear Homeowners,

We thought you would appreciate a nice comment from some of our residents, and we all share the sentiment.

"I was very surprised to see Darren's guys shoveling our driveway at 6:00am. They waited for me to back the Pacifica out so they could shovel that side of the driveway. Where else can we find that level of customer service? "

"Our neighborhood requires extra attention because there are very few places to pile the snow up. If the city were to come through and skim the surface instead of Darren then the homeowners would be left with a one lane road because the snow would be piled everywhere. Only one lane was clear going down the mountain, the other 3 lanes were snow covered."

And more... "I am sure Jason's wife appreciated her driveway and road plowed to get the kids safely to bus stop. Robin's teenagers to safely make it to school while she isn't home to take them. Lance not having to walk through snow in tennis shoes. I think that every penny just spent was worth it to our residents."

"I saw Darren and his guys out at 6:30 shoveling in the dark. I left down the hill to a clear Traverse Ridge road. When I came back up at 9pm the road was covered in snow again up the mountain. I went to bed at 11pm and woke up at 4am to see that Darren came back up and plowed our street and guys shoveled our driveways again. That is awesome service to do that for early morning commuters and kids like my son who walk to the bus stop."

"The cars are struggling and getting stuck coming up SunCrest drive behind our neighborhood. Our road looks better than Suncrest Dr. I am sure if you ask at the annual meeting how Darren's service was you won't get any complaints. We have to remember that safety is first. With cleared roads it helps prevent car accidents. With cleared driveways and walkways prevent falling and breaking bones. Not to mention being able to get to work so you can pay your dues!"

We Board members agree!
